What to Expect.

What to expect for Worship

Worship (verb)… to give honor, praise, and show reverence to God

We prioritize Expository Preaching

This means we walk through the Bible verse by verse, seeking to uncover the truth that’s already there in the text—letting God’s Word speak for itself.

Our approach is inspired by the account in Luke 24, where Jesus, on the road to Emmaus, opened the Scriptures to two disciples and revealed how they pointed to Himself. In the same way, we aim to follow Jesus’ example by teaching through entire books of the Bible, always keeping our eyes on Him.

We believe every passage of Scripture ultimately points to Jesus. That’s why our preaching is focused on faithfully exposing Christ in all of Scripture—so that hearts might burn within us, just as they did on that road to Emmaus.

We prioritize Prayer

We take Jesus’ words in Matthew 21:13 to heart: “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” In response, we intentionally make prayer a central part of our life together as a church.

Prayer isn’t just something we do—it’s an essential part of our worship. Through prayer, we seek God’s guidance, express our dependence on Him, and lift up the needs of our church, our community, and the world.

Whether in our services, small groups, or personal lives, we are committed to being a praying people—just as Jesus calls us to be.

We prioritize Singing Praises

At Bethel, we sing to glorify King Jesus. Our worship is more than music—it’s a heartfelt response to what Christ has done for us through the cross. Jesus gave His life so that all who believe in Him may have eternal life, and that truth fuels our praise.

Every song we sing is Christ-centered, rich in biblical truth, and focused on the gospel. Our goal is to lift high the name of Jesus and draw hearts closer to Him. Come worship with us—we’d love for you to join in as we sing of His grace, goodness, and glory!

We prioritize Giving

We believe that everything we have—our money, time, and resources—ultimately belongs to God. Giving is our way of honoring Him and participating in the work of His Kingdom.

Through tithes, offerings, and acts of service, we give back what is already His. Whether it’s financial support or the faithful use of our time and talents, we seek to steward all that we have for the glory of King Jesus.

Giving isn’t just a duty—it’s a privilege and an act of worship.

A WARM WELCOME!

At Bethel, hospitality isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. Scripture calls us to be hospitable (Hebrews 13:2, 1 Peter 4:9, Romans 12:13), and we take that calling to heart.

We’re more than a group of people who gather on Sundays—we’re a family, doing life together throughout the week. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking for a church home, you’ll be greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine community.
